In honor of the National Park Service Centennial and to inspire a new generation of outdoor enthusiasts and stewards, the Outdoor Foundation and Backpacker have launched Backpacker Parks 4 Kids, a program that will engage our outdoor community in a collective effort to fund meaningful park experiences for grade school students across America

We know that connecting young people to parks has a profound impact on health and wellbeing while growing environmental stewards and advocates. Unfortunately, many youth don’t have the access or resources to experience these natural places.

Together, we can change that. Based on a national average, a donation of just $10 will connect one student to a park. A gift of $1,000 will give 100 students a meaningful park experience!

Let’s work together to give kids across America a meaningful park experience this year!

Join us and donate to a project in your backyard today.
