Please describe your project in more detail.

Volunteer instructors will cover aquatic insects as indicators of stream quality with kids catching invertebrates in the Buffalo Fork River.  Students will meet with Museum curator, naturalist, and ceremonial leader, Lanie Thom, who will walk them through a showing of native culture, spirituality, and what it means to give back to community, FS Trails/Wilderness crew will demonstrate packing, wilderness tools, leave no trace, and the kids will try cross-cut sawing.  Teton Raptor Center will wow kids with eagles, while biologists will teach about reintroducing Bison on the Wind River tribal land and grizzly bears and how to stay safe in bear country.
